We're Home

Well we survived a week in the the Grand Cayman... I don't even know where to start... The island is absolutely beautiful... ..... The sand is soft, the sun is hot and the water is refreshing
The locals are extremely friendly and the beer was very cold :)

A few of favorites things were:

Stingray sandbar

Turtle FarmPhotobucket

Watching sharks get fed

Eating Turtle.. (yes we ate it)
Eating all the yummy food
and the Cayman Colada .. Wow it was yummy

A few things I feared

Fish in the water
The little Crabs that ran all over the beach at night and I couldn't see... until a flash of light would reveal them to me..
And going to Hell

Okay so let"s talk about Sting Ray City! it's a huge sandbar off the coast where for a small fee you can charter a boat and swim with these creatures..... They are slippery! They also say that it's seven years of good luck for kissing one.... I had to try it... The only thing we were warned not to do was step on them.... that could scare them and cause them to sting you ... I was frozen for the first few minutes scared to move my feet... scared I would get stung.. and trust me the stinger is big...

Oh and something else to mention: eating a piece of turtle meat.... Tastes like beef :)

so as I stated above we stopped quickly in Hell.... Check out these pics..

Don't get crazy this is something that we want to do. We still plan on getting married and I am still having my wedding gown custom made (the one thing that was not canceled) We just don't know where or when.... More information to follow.

Project Bread's 40th Walk for Hunger

On Sunday, May 4, I will be participating in Project Bread's 40th Walk for Hunger. This year's event is an especially important one, and I hope that you will support me!

This year, there is a lot to celebrate. For 40 years, caring people from every background, united in the spirit of helping others, have come together to take part in this wonderful tradition to help feed hungry families in their communities.

And there is a lot we still need to do. Project Bread's 2007 Status Report on Hunger showed us that hunger is on the rise in Massachusetts, and there is a greater gap between the rich and poor here than almost anywhere else in the country. The need has never been greater.

I'm walking because I know that there are hungry people in Massachusetts, and that I can help them through The Walk for Hunger. The money that I raise by walking as much as I can of the 20-mile route will directly help hungry people. Funds raised through the Walk support more than 400 emergency food programs in 126 communities in Massachusetts.

Visit my personal Walk Webpage to learn more. From there, you can donate to me, or sign up to Walk with me!

Thank you for considering sponsoring me, and for your support of hungry people. Use the link below to visit my personal Walk Webpage and help me reach my goal.

Thank you!

Thanks again

Less than 6 months to go

I have not posted anything in a few weeks becuase I haven't had much to say... With less than six months to go we are starting from scratch!!! Crazy, I know.. Dan and I met with the Vesper Country Club in mid March and we both decided it was not something we wanted (for several reasons). I have been spending all of my time looking at new locations for the ceremony & reception. This is not fun so if anyone has ideas, please let me know. Oh and I am also in need of a photographer...

This is what I feel like these days

Should I put this on the invite?

Okay so here is some info from the Vesper Country Club... Not sure if I should include this info in the invite??? I mean I do have to dress up just for my appointments with the function coordinator... They are pretty serious when it comes to the "dress code"

Vesper Country Club

185 Pawtucket Blvd.

Tyngsboro, MA. 01879

(978) 458-8731

I think that this goes with out being said, but since the reception hall is a private country club, proper dress is required. That means "No Jeans". Anyone wearing jeans will not be allowed in.

If you would like to visit the web page of Vesper Country Club to see more information about the reception. Just click on the following address http://www.vespercc.com When the page comes up, click on Banquets & Catering on the left.

Honeymoon Part 2

I was talking to my friend Amy today about honeymoons esp the Grand Cayman.... Then somehow we got on the subject of Australia. Amy is getting married Sept. 09 so she is looking for honeymoon ideas too.
Well I did some research into a 10 day trip to Sydney Australia and here it is:

A little over 22 hours each way... Two days of travel Each way

For the 10 day trip and a lovely stay at the Hilton Sydney the cost per person is $9,753 with air and hotel.... Now I know you are probably thinking this is the Hilton and that's why it's so expensive... NO WAY the courtyard was only $300.00 less per person... And keep in mind this trip also includes 3 plane changes..

Here are a few pictures to check out, it truly is beautiful.

Looks like I will have to save this trip for another time.. when I have the patience for a long trip... After this Hawaii feels like it's around he corner.
